MEMPHIS, Tenn. (FOX13) -

With considerable rain in the forecast Halloween night, what's the back up plan for trick-or-treaters?

The kiddos love Halloween because it's all about the candy. But nobody likes a soggy costume, which is why some parents let their children "suit-up" a day early and take advantage of Halloween Eve festivities.

It's not quite as big as Christmas, but Halloween is a close second for most kids as they look forward to trick-or-treating.

Bass Pro Shops opened its doors to trick-or-treaters Wednesday evening giving parents a dry option to let their kids show off their costumes and get candy.

Parents said rain or shine, trick-or-treating at businesses puts their minds more at ease.
