After several run-ins with the law and making headlines for his hot temper, Chris Brown is getting some help. The singer has checked into rehab for anger management.
This follows Brown's arrest early Sunday, when the 24-year-old was accused of punching a man outside a Washington, D.C. hotel.
A judge reduced the charges from a felony to a misdemeanor on Monday.
Brown is still on probation for that incident in 2009 when he pleaded guilty for brutally attacking then girlfriend, Rihanna.
Public relations consultant Dyana Williams specializes in crisis management and has worked with Chris Brown before. In fact, she has known Brown since he was 15. She believes Brown needs help, but believes he could have been provoked in Sunday's altercation.
"We need to make sure we get all the facts because he's maintaining his innocence, and this guy was trespassing or was attacking him. He thought he was being attacked, so we have to know all the facts," Williams emphasized.
