"Uglies" are starting to take over social media. It's the latest craze. Instead of taking flattering "selfies," people are snapping pictures of themselves with the most unusual expressions.
Ah, some ladies just looked at pictures of faces only a mother could love. The feedback is in -- and let's just say it isn't pretty. Say goodbye to glamor shots. Sorry, Kim, Beyoncé, Miley: vanity may be dying.
Now the rich and famous -- and the not so special (the rest of us) are tossing aside the so-called selfie. You know, when you take a flattering picture of yourself and post it online, and exchanging it for the ugly.
Don't believe me? This new trend is everywhere. Check snap chat, Facebook, or Instagram.
We got a look at "the toad," "the thumb," "the crybaby," and "the just plain creepy." Even the beautiful are posting "uglies." Model Cara Delevingne does it. So does comedian Ricky Gervais.
Turns out some people like to look ugly. So the next time you turn and snap a shot of yourself, even if it's for a loved one, consider not putting your best face forward. It might just be fun.
