NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

Three New York City residents are under arrest on forgery charges after state troopers say they were found with more than 100 forged credit cards.

The New York State Police say the bust took place on Wednesday morning, just before 11 a.m.

Troopers on I-90 in the Montgomery County Town of Glen pulled over a black Chrysler 300 for speeding.

The trooper says he smelled marijuana coming from inside the car.  He says the three occupants gave conflicting stories about who they were and where they were going.

The trooper called backup and they searched the car.  Police found 115 fraudulent credit cards hidden in 2 false bottom drink mix containers.  No marijuana was located.

Police arrested Kirschel K. Butler, 26; Christopher Grey, 23; and Keliesha C. McCoy, 23.

The three were charged with 115 counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument.  They were arraigned in the Town of Glen Court and sent to the Montgomery County Jail.
