YALOBUSHA COUNTY, Miss. (FOX13) -

Former Tate County Boy Scout executive William Todd Brewer was sentenced Thursday to 30 years in prison after being found guilty in Yalobusha County on child pornography, sexual battery and fondling charges.

He was found guilty on three counts total and will serve his term concurrently.

Brewer's trial was held in Coffeeville in Yalobusha County, some 57 miles south of Senatobia.

Tate County Sheriff Brad Lance said Brewer was credited for 462 days of time served and is not eligible for parole or early release.

A Tate County grand jury indicted Brewer in February on 23 counts of sexual battery involving minors, fondling and child pornography. He was indicted on 10 counts of child pornography, eight counts of sexual battery and five counts of fondling.

The former district director of the Boy Scouts for North Mississippi was arrested in July 2012 at his Senatobia home. At the time of his arrest, the Tate County Sheriff's Office said there were five male abuse victims, all under 16. None of the boys were scouts.

Brewer's former neighbors said in July 2012 after Senatobia police arrested him, the former scout leader used a substance on the kids he allegedly sexually abused. His house backs up right to the Senatobia Middle School playground.
