MEMPHIS, Tenn. -

For the first time since 2007, Memphis Madness is back on the ESPN networks.

ESPNU announced Thursday that Memphis is one of nine programs to be featured in ESPNU's Midnight Madness coverage Oct. 18. The ESPNU college basketball preseason celebration show begins at 8 p.m. (CT) that night.

Memphis Madness doors at FedExForum are slated to open at 6:30 p.m. (CT), with the on-the-floor festivities to begin around 7:30 p.m. (CT). The Memphis Madness schedule of events will be released at a later date.

Calling the action for ESPNU from FedExForum is ESPN analyst Bruce Pearl.

The Tigers, which started practice Oct. 3, are ranked No. 15 in ESPN.com's Top 25 as compiled by the site's college basketball writer Jason King.
