ATLANTA -

Top city leaders and law enforcement held their annual salute on Friday to honor their retired comrades.

Police Chief George Turner, Mayor Kasim Reed and other officials attended the 36th annual Jenkins-Lee Atlanta Police Retired Officers Roundup. It was held at the Grant Park Pavilion.

Mayor Reed said the city cannot do enough to support its finest for their sacrifice.

Each year, this event provides an opportunity for retired Atlanta police officers to connect with old friends and colleagues.
