A Memphis chef could be named the top chef in North America after competing in "Battledish," an international cooking competition Saturday, Oct. 5 Memphis.
Six Memphis chefs will open their downtown restaurants to the public Oct. 5 from 2-6 p.m., allowing foodies to sample food and drinks then vote for the best creations.
"The public can come out and taste all of the chefs' creations and the bartenders drinks that are entering the Battledish," Kim Faqua said. "The chefs had free rein to create their best bite to share with the public and the media chefs."
FOX13 News reporter Matt Gerien will be one of the media judges on hand to vote with his taste buds. You can purchase tickets to Battledish Memphis online or visit Jerry Lee Lewis Cafe and Honky Tonk on Beale Street on Saturday at 2 p.m.
