EAST POINT, Ga. -

The East Point Police Department have made two arrests in connection with the beating and robbery of an elderly veteran.  A third suspect, who is considered to be the ringleader in the attack, remains on the loose.

Police say Dexter Ware, 21, and Iesha Washington, 22, are facing charges of armed robbery as well assault and battery and other charges.

Investigators are still looking for 20-year-old Ricky Wilcoxson.  They say he has an extensive criminal history.

Officers say the trio are responsible for the September 14 attack on 80-year-old Creston Portis, Jr.  It's been two weeks, and Portis still has bruises.

Portis said the attackers smashed his car window, beat him and then stole his wallet.

Investigators believe the attack on Portis was random, and that's why they're especially eager to get all three suspects off the street.
