CTA Brown Line Loop service resumes after bridge lift

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

The CTA Brown Line has resumed normal service in the Loop after a bridge was lifted over the Chicago River Saturday.

Commuters will experience residual delay as train service resumed about 11:15 a.m. between the Merchandise Mart and the Loop stations, CTA said.

Shuttle buses were operating between the Merchandise Mart and the Loop stations when the bridge was raised about 11 a.m., according to the CTA.
