ATLANTA -

A 24-year-rold is charged in 3-vehicle crash on east Ponce De Leon Avenue that left a motorcyclist dead Friday morning.

Kevin Lach faces charges of DUI, failure to maintain a lane and first-degree vehicular homicide, according to DeKalb County police. Traveling west on East Ponce, Lach crossed the center line and struck the motorcycle head-on.

The motorcycle rider – 58-year-old Nathanial Hollis – was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. A total of two cars and the motorcycle rider collided in the wreck at the intersection of Ponce and Lakeshore Drive.

Nearby neighbors told FOX 5 Atlanta that there have been numerous crashes along that section of Ponce. They say they've expressed concerns before about people driving too fast.
