Research Analyzes Coffee Preference With Personality
Some of us can't get through the morning without coffee. So what does our coffee preference say about us?
Clinical psychologist Dr. Ramani Durvasula, a prolific Professor of Psychology who's a regular on the Doctor Oz show, did a study analyzing all of our favorite coffee drinks with the type of person who consumes them.
According to the study, Cappuccino lovers are more likely to be obsessive! Researchers say people who like extra foamy drinks are also very controlling.
Latte (anyone who adds milk and cream) lovers try to please others. They also tend to be more neurotic and eager to please people. Researchers say that Latte drinkers are happy to go out of their way to help others, but they don't take great care of themselves.
According to the study, black coffee drinkers are old school. These people like things simple, but also tend to be quiet and moody. Research shows they are also "no nonsense" and straightforward individuals.
Frozen and blended coffee drinkers were found to be socially bold. They tended to be childlike and imaginative, but they also could be reckless and fall for quick fixes.
People who like decaf, soy milk, or in general ask for very specific types of coffees are found to be very aware of their health, but they can sometimes be overly sensitive and overfocus on control and order.
Instant coffee fans were also analyzed. They tend to be too laid back, but they also tend to procrastinate.
