A peace group held an anti-war rally in Memphis this evening before President Barack Obama's address to the nation.

More than two dozen gathered at the intersection of Park avenue and Highland during rush hour and sent a clear message that they are against any U.S. military intervention in Syria.
The group also asked Memphians to call their representatives in Washington, D.C. to voice their opinion about a military strike against the Middle Eastern country.
