Body found in Fayette County cotton field identified

FAYETTE COUNTY, Tenn. (FOX13) -

The remains discovered in Fayette County have been positively identified as David Seymore (DOB 4/17/1959) from Stanton, Tennessee. Cause of death has not been determined.

His was found near Highway 64 off Teague Store Toad in a cotton field.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation was on the scene and looking to see if a vehicle found nearby is connected to this case.

The remains were sent to the medical examiner's office here in Memphis for possible identification.

Seymore was last seen August 30 leaving his employer in his vehicle complaining of chest pains. According to the City Watch Alert the victim stated he was driving home to Stanton, TN instead of going to the hospital. He had not been heard from since.
