PHOENIX (AP) - Parts of Phoenix are cleaning up after a fast-moving thunderstorm toppled trees and caused delays at Sky Harbor International Airport.
The isolated showers and thunderstorms struck parts of the city Friday just hours after temperatures hit a record 111 degrees.
Power lines in some areas were also knocked down, although there were no reports of large power outages.
The National Weather Service reports that area can expect to see more showers and thunderstorms beginning Sunday through Tuesday.
