Open casting call: 20th Century Fox seeking young Elvis for major film

Casting directors are holding an online audition for a young Elvis to play the leading role in the move "Last Train to Memphis".

The film is based on the popular book "Last Train to Memphis" which chronicles The King's early years from childhood through his Sun Studios days.

The film is being produced by Rolling Stones front man, Mick Jagger who is also producing the up-coming James Brown biopic.

Casting directors for the Elvis project are looking for an unknown actor between the ages of 18 and 22 and you have to be able to sing.

You can submit an audition tape digitally to the "Young Elvis Presley" website.

So what do you have to do?

According to the website you will need film yourself reading some lines and singing 6-8 bars of any Elvis song from 1957.
