ROSEVILLE, Mich. (WJBK) -

A recent armed robbery at Macomb Mall proves to be an inside job.

Two suspects, Jermaine Passmore, 27, and Boston Jermaine Thompkins, 32, are each charged with one count of armed robbery.

Tuesday evening, police say Thompkins entered the 'Foot Action' shoe store at Macomb Mall, masked and carrying a gun. He held up the store clerk on duty, Passmore, and took approximately $4,500 in cash.

The incident was captured on surveillance videos. When Roseville Police began questioning Passmore, they noticed inconsistencies with his story and what was caught on video.

Further investigation proved the two talked just before the robbery, and then again after it happened.

Roseville Police arrested both men, and say they have both confessed to planning and staging the robbery. They are currently being held on $500,000 bond. They are expected back in court September 9. They face life in prison if convicted.
