Memphis Police have charged a 14-year-old juvenile with aggravated assault and possession of a deadly weapon after a fellow teen was shot in a playground Sunday afternoon near Evans Elementary School.
The teen victim, also 14, is in stable but critical condition at The MED.
Friends of the victim said on Sunday the teen was holding the side of his body after the shooting.

The teen suspect who was charged by police fled the South Memphis playground moments after the shooting.
Friends told FOX13 News the teenage victim may have been shot while playing what kids in the neighborhood simply call the "shooting game."
Police continue to investigate if Sunday's shooting was intentional or accidental.
