Festivities Conclude At Made In America Year Two

PHILADELPHIA -

It's been a long day at the Made in America Festival for Jasmine Davis of Trenton.

"Very long day. Very exhausting," she says.

She is among a projected 60,000 people spending the day before Labor Day partying along the Ben Franklin parkway for night two of the festival.

Some of her favorite stars are at the same event.

"I enjoyed Whiz Kalifa a whole lot.  2 Chainz was really good.  Beyonce …out of this world," she says.

Day two of Made in America was about rock and roll for a little while with Gaslight Anthem hitting the main stage earlier.

Things then turned to the Rhythm and Blues when Beyonce's sister Solange played some of her sultry numbers. Rapper Kendrick Lamar also fired up energy levels when he took over the show.

"Kendrick Lamar was the best performance.  We had a blast.  We were jumping everywhere. Sweating, it was just some," says Shirley Martinez of Northeast Philadelphia.

And that was just the beginning.

"We want to see Calvin Harris later; it's going to be huge. It's going to be awesome. We're going to have a lot of fun," says an excited woman.

"I'm definitely looking forward to tonight, Nero. Definitely Nero tonight," says a another.

"It's very live and bumpin', we've seen a lot of performances so far," says another.

But it got too hot for many fans that passed out and had to be seen by paramedics for heat exhaustion. Though police say that the numbers were down from the first night. Still, fans say that Made in America is well worth it despite the weather. Many also say that this year tops the inaugural event in 2012.

"I came last year and I think that this year there's like 10 times more people.  I feel like it's just crazy," one girl says.

    NICE EASTER WEEKEND

The first half of the holiday weekend has been great and Easter Sunday looks just as nice. Clouds thin out late tonight with temperatures falling back to the 40s.

Initially it'll be jacket weather early Sunday morning but plenty of sunshine will warm us into the 60s by afternoon.  High temperatures will be a few degrees cooler than Saturday.

It will be noticeably cooler and breezy at the shore with highs in the low 50s.  Quiet conditions continue into Monday.
