BERKLEY, Mich. (WJBK) -

The name of the store is different and so are the things inside.

'Our Greentopia' on 12 Mile Road in Berkley is a new eco-lifestyle boutique filled with fun and functional green items from cleaning products to organic cotton clothing.

Owner Katie Reiter was a health management consultant for 15-years but she's she says she has always been an environmentalist at hear.

So she decided to open her first ever store and make it earth friendly.

"I felt by offering something earth friendly we could all make a difference," says Reiter.

The products she sells are made with fewer toxins and sustainable materials like bamboo.  She focuses on local artists who make things like bowls crafted from coconuts.

One of the more unusual things sold at 'Our Greentopia' is the 'poo paper.'  Yep, it's made out of organic sustainable material.

The store is open most weekdays 10a to 6p and Thursday 10a to 8p, Friday Noon to 5p.
