WALTON COUNTY, Ga. -

Authorities say a third driver has now come forward in connection to the accident that left 16-year-old Jacob Little dead.  The teen was hit by several vehicles on his way to school in Monroe on Tuesday, and the search continues for the driver who was first to strike him.

Little was struck on Double Springs Church Road less than a mile away from Monroe Area High School.  Authorities say he had missed his school bus, and decided to walk to school instead.

He had his skateboard with him, and according to investigators, it slipped out from under him when he was riding it.  When he went into the road to retrieve it, he was hit by vehicles traveling in both directions.

The Georgia State Patrol says a man who saw the story on the news came to the Walton County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday night.  His Chevrolet S-10 truck was determined to be one of the vehicles that hit Little.  The man was not charged.

To one of the drivers who hit Little remained at the scene after the accident, and another came forward Tuesday night after seeing the story on the news.  No one has been charged in the case.

Authorities are still processing a Honda they towed from Georgia Highway 316 near Harbins Road on Wednesday morning.  They say they're trying to determine if it is the same Honda that is believed to have been the first car to hit Little.  That driver left the scene of the accident.

A Walton County community came together Wednesday night to remember the 16-year-old who was killed early Tuesday morning on his way to school.
