Family members told FOX 9 two victims from Tuesday's night's shooting in north Minneapolis have been released from the hospital and the third is expected to be released Wednesday.A baby girl, her 17-year-old uncle and a 19-year-old pregnant woman were shot at 5:29 p.m. as they stood near the intersection of 29th Street and Lyndale Avenue North.
According to Minneapolis police, the victims were standing around a parked car when a man walked up and started shooting, then fled on foot.The 14-month-old baby, My'Khelea Smith, was shot in the shoulder. Her 17-year-old uncle, Javar Smith, and 19-year-old Trenay Garner were both shot in the leg.
Police are still searching for a suspect.
Community leaders and neighbors rallied at the intersection on Wednesday afternoon to protest the shooting, holding signs and publicly calling for an end to the violence.
