Shelby County Sheriff deputies said they have located Stephen Nolen of Eads, Tenn., who disappeared Aug. 1 before a family reunion trip to Florida.

Sgt. Nolen of SCSO said in a post on Facebook the 6-foot-2 Nolen was found "alive and well."

"Great news on a great day. Stephen Nolen, the missing man from Eads, has been located alive and well. Thank you to all those who shared his photo and got the word out. It is through those connections that we were able to locate him. Thanks again, Sgt. Keaton."

At the time of his disappearance 17 days ago, Nolen was supposed to travel to a family reunion in Florida. His gold colored 2011 Ford F-350 truck was also missing.

Sgt. Keaton did not elaborate on where Nolen was found or if his truck was recovered.
