BRISTOL, Conn. -

ESPN officially announced its 2013-14 college basketball GameDay lineup on Wednesday, and the University of Memphis is scheduled to be a part of it.

The Feb. 8, 2014, ESPN GameDay appearance will be the Tigers' fourth overall and the third time Memphis has hosted the event. The Tigers are hosting Gonzaga at FedExForum as ESPN's featured contest that night.

The last time Memphis was a part of ESPN GameDay was in February of 2009 when the Tigers traveled to Spokane, Wash., to play Gonzaga. Memphis posted a 68-50 win over the Bulldogs at Spokane Arena on Feb. 7, 2009.

The Tigers also hosted ESPN GameDay versus Tennessee in 2008 and against Louisville in 2005, which was the season the network's college basketball road show debuted.

Memphis is one of four American Athletic Conference schools on this season's ESPN GameDay lineup. On Jan. 18, 2014, ESPN GameDay is slated to televise a doubleheader show involving fellow American Athletic Conference members Temple, Louisville and Connecticut. The show starts in Philadelphia, Pa., prior to the Temple-La Salle match-up at The Palestra and then moves to either Storrs, Conn. (Gampel Pavilion), or Hartford, Conn. (XL Center), for the Louisville-UConn encounter.

ESPN GameDay is the network's third event the Tigers are participating in the 2013-14 season. As has been previously announced, Memphis is playing in both the Old Spice Classic in Orlando Nov. 28-Dec. 1 and Jimmy V Classic in New York City Dec. 17.
