Florida A&M University's famed "Marching 100" will soon make its long-awaited return to the football field.

The band director says band members will play at halftime on September 1 in Orlando, during FAMU's season-opener against Mississippi Valley State.

University officials suspended the Marching 100 back in 2011, when drum major and DeKalb County resident Robert Champion's death was tied to hazing practices used by band members.
