Posted: Updated:

A Cobb County man is accused of beheading two puppies.

According to an arrest warrant obtained by FOX 5, police say Robert Davis, of Mableton, decapitated a 6-week-old pit bull puppy given to him by a teenager.

Davis reportedly admitted to police that he'd buried the puppy in his backyard and then moved the body when he learned police were on the way.

That warrant also says the body of a second puppy was discovered on Davis's property.

Davis faces two charges of aggravated cruelty to animals as well as charges of tampering with evidence.
