Girl injured in Queens shooting

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

A 10-year-old girl was grazed by a bullet when she was caught in crossfire between four suspects on a street in Queens early Saturday morning.

According to police, Briana Palmer was coming outside from the Dix McBride Houses in Far Rockaway when two men on bikes rode up and started firing at two other men at around 1:30 a.m. The girl was grazed in the leg during in the crossfire.

She was taken to St. John’s Hospital where she is listed in stable condition.

According to the NY Post, Police Commissioner Ray Kelly told reporters Saturday that at least one person was in police custody and being questioned in connection with the shooting.
