Time is winding up for people to file an appeal when it comes to the 2013 reappraisal values placed on their homes.
Wednesday is the last day homeowners have to challenge the assessment.
You must file an appeal to the Shelby County Board of Equalization, or you lose your appeal rights for the 20-3 tax year.
Earlier this year, Shelby County saw its first reappraisal decrease in years, which meant a decrease in property value.
Reappraisal is a periodic update required by Tennessee state law where real property values are updated to reflect market value.
