NEWPORT, Ark. (FOX13) -

Law enforcement are searching for two inmates who disappeared from the Jackson County Detention Center in Newport, Ark., early Monday morning.

A BOLO (Be On the Look Out) advisory was issued at 11 a.m. for 39-year-old Steven Mitchell and 22-year-old Steven William Reed.

Mitchell is considered extremely dangerous and is awaiting trail for battery in the first degree. He's 5-foot-11, weighs 200 pounds, and has brown hair and blue eyes.

Reed was awaiting transport to the Arkansas Department of Correction for a parole violation and also has charges of felony fleeing and felony criminal mischief. Reed is 5-foot-8, weighs 140 pounds, has brown hair and brown eyes.

Sheriff David Lucas says the men may be in a white Nissan Altima with the Arkansas license plate 332-SNY. Authorities say the inmates may be with Mitchell's wife, Jessica Mitchell.

Arkansas police are considering the Nissan Altima stolen and believe Jessica Mitchell is with her husband and Reed.

If you have seen these men or know where they are you are urged to call your local police department or 9-1-1.

Newport is 100 miles northwest of Memphis, Tenn.
