Bartlett Police Officer Quentin Crowley, charged with domestic assault in June, has been given a 24-day suspension without pay and was placed on probation for six months in the wake of an internal investigation, BPD said Monday.
Criminal charges were dismissed July 10 against Officer Crowley after he underwent counseling for a June 16 incident involving his wife at their Bartlett home. He was initially arrested on simple domestic assault charges after he allegedly pushed his wife, causing her to hit her head on a hardwood floor.
Though the charges were dropped, Officer Crowley was suspended and placed on probation after facing several Bartlett PD violations.
