Arkansas highway officials say a lane of Interstate 40 will be temporarily closed in West Memphis as crews install new signs and remove pavement markings.
The State Highway and Transportation Department says I-40 eastbound traffic will be merged into one lane on Tuesday from just east of Highway 118 to just east of the Interstate 40/55 interchange.
The lane closure will last from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, weather permitting.
