A budget shortfall has MATA considering chopping several routes.
Tuesday night, the public got to have its say in the matter. Dozens showed up at the Ed Rice Community Center in Frayser, most unhappy with the changes and what they could mean for their kids and their jobs.
Many MATA riders say if routes are cut, they'll have trouble trying to get to work.
Another meeting is scheduled for Thursday night at the Airways Transit Center on Airways Boulevard.
Any changes to MATA's routes are expected to go into effect on Aug. 25.
