Across the pond, valley residents celebrate birth of royal baby
The duke and duchess of Cambridge have welcomed a baby boy. It was jubilation in London outside the royal palace when the announcement was made.
But today's news was also exciting for people in the valley.
Folks up at the English Rose Tea Room in Carefree let the whole world know that the duchess had her baby.
The owner says family members over in the UK began texting her early this morning with the great news.
Although many were planning on a girl, not a boy.
"We were hoping for a girl because pink is so much easier but I dashed out and got the blue dress and we told everybody that we knew it was a boy, and it is a wonderful thing to have a future king of England," says Jo Gemmill, owner of English Rose Tea Room.
