Kentucky man, 29, charged with making bomb threat, stalking

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

A 29-year-old Kentucky man was expected in bond court Friday after being charged with stalking and making a bomb threat against a Chicago man and his family.

John A. Holliman, of the 600 block of Smugglers Notch Drive in Lexington, Ky., was charged Thursday, after he was identified as being the person who called in a false bomb threat at a building on the 200 block of block of South Wacker Drive on June 25, according to Chicago Police.

Holliman was also identified as the man who threatened and harassed the 52-year-old victim and his family, demanding money from them, police said.

He was charged with one count each of theft by threat, disorderly conduct for the false bomb threat, and stalking, all felonies.
