MEMPHIS, Tenn. (FOX13) -

Two people are recovering from gunshot wounds after a gunman entered the B&N Bar and Grill on Tchluhoma Road and started firing, Memphis Police said.

The double shooting took place just before 3 a.m.

When officers made the scene they were advised by a security guard that a large fight broke out inside the club and customers quickly exited the building.  The security guard and a co-worker also removed several individuals from the club.  At that time, they observed the suspect exit the club.

The unknown suspect is a black male with dreads and was wearing a white and red shirt and white shorts, according to the security guard.

The suspect re-entered the club and started firing several shots with a chrome handgun striking two people. The suspect then fled the scene.

One of the victims told police that he was leaving the club when an unknown suspect began firing shots in the parking lot. He was transported by Memphis Fire Department to the The MED in stable condition.

Another victim also said he was walking outside the club in the parking lot when he was shot in the right lower leg. He was taken to Delta Medical and is currently in critical condition.

Officers on the scene found several shell casings of various calibers and blood in the club parking lot.

Police say the suspect is still at-large. If you can assist police you are urged to call CrimeStopper at 901-528-CASH.
