Anthony Geraci, Executive Director of Child Nutrition for Shelby County Schools, is using federal grants to provide every child a free meal at breakfast and after school when the day is extended, but not the way meals have always been done.
Geraci is moving towards fresh foods with local growers, less processed foods and less fat choices. His effort is bound to be applauded by leaders from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine.
