UPDATE: Police said they have made an arrest in the June 6 beating and robbery of a man at a gas station in Winchester in Memphis. The suspect's name is Devin Anderson.
An arraignment is pending in Shelby County General Sessions Court.

Memphis Police investigators are seeking the identity and apprehension of a man who robbed and beat an unknown victim the night of June 6 at a BP gas station store on Winchester Road.
The especially aggravated robbery incident took place at around 10 p.m. in the 5800 block of Winchester after police officers responded initially to a fight call.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the 37-year-old victim was approached by the unidentified man. The suspect robbed, kicked and repeatedly beat the victim with a beer bottle.
Police said the suspect, captured on surveillance video, is a black man with a thin mustache and thin facial hair. The suspect was seen wearing a white wave cap, white tank top t-shirt, dark color jeans, black tennis shoes, a silver chain necklace and square diamond earrings.
Police said the suspect in question is known to frequent 5895 Winchester and the BP Shop Gas Station. If you recognize the man you are urged to contact CrimeStoppers at 901-528-CASH.
