Police on Friday afternoon arrested and charged an 18-year-old Wayne, N.J., resident in connection with the robbery and murder of a teen just hours after the latter graduated high school.

Authorities charged Casey Cole with conspiracy to commit robbery, felony murder, and robbery.

Isaac Rinas, 18, and a friend drove to a dangerous neighborhood in Paterson after the 18-year-old had received his diploma from Wayne Valley High School on Wednesday, police said.

Police said the teens parked and Cole entered the vehicle, brandished a gun and demanded money from the friend.

Rinas was shot in the neck, suffering a fatal wound. The gunman got away at the time, police said.

Bail was set at $2 million cash, then Passaic County Prosecutor's Office said.
