NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

Four people including three firefighters were injured in a crash involving a fire truck and a van in Williamsburg, Brooklyn on Monday.

The injured firefighters were rushed to Bellevue Hospital. They were all expected to recover.

One civilian suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken by the Hatzolah ambulance corps to a hospital.

The fire truck was responding to a call about a fire on Bedford Ave. at about 11 a.m. when it was involved in an accident with a black van at Marcy Avenue and Hewes Street.

The fire truck jumped the curb after the crash.

Police say that the initial call turned out to be a false alarm.
