GILA BEND, Ariz. -

A Maricopa County Sheriff's deputy found a dead body in the desert on Sunday morning, only a couple of miles west of where four bodies were found earlier in the week.

MCSO says a dead man's body was discovered south of I-8 after a deputy on patrol approached a metal storage building near two empty water tanks and saw what he thought were two human feet inside.

The deputy went to the opening and saw a man lying on the ground.

MCSO says the man had no identification and there were no signs of trauma or foul play.

Sheriff's detectives don't know if the man is connected to the four bodies found in the same area on Thursday.

MCSO and U.S. Border Patrol have rescued 24 people lost in the desert over the past several weeks.
