Memphis police are investigating three overnight shootings that occurred within three hours.
The first occurred at 2:34 a.m. Saturday night in the 2300 block of Silver Cove where officers found two males inside the residence with gunshot wounds. The 66-year-old victim was pronounced dead on the scene by paramedics; the second victim, 21-years-old, was transported to the Med in critical condition.
Memphis police say the 66-year-old victim is not positively identified yet. There is no suspect description at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing.

The second Saturday night shooting occurred at 3:45 a.m. at a McDonald's at 1325 Ridgeway.
A preliminary investigation reveals two males were inside a Jeep Cherokee at the drive-thru window when an unidentified man opened the rear door in an attempt to get inside the vehicle. Police say a 29-year-old man inside the car shot the unknown man.
MPD says they did detain the suspect, but did not disclose his name; no charges have been filed.
The third shooting occurred at 4:52 a.m. at 887 Sumter where officers found an unresponsive 49-year-old woman lying on the couch with a gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead on the scene. MPD says she is not positively identified yet.
A preliminary investigation shows the woman and her 53-year-old husband were arguing when it became physical. Police say they fought over a gun and the victim was shot.
Police say they detained the husband on the scene, but did not reveal his identity; charges have not been filed yet. The investigation remains ongoing.
