DESOTO COUNTY. Miss. (FOX13) -

A new summer foods program in DeSoto County launched last week by a ministry program and the USDA will be ensuring that kids get fed when school is out.

They are serving free breakfast and lunch at five different locations in the county to children up to 18 year of age, no paperwork required.

The ministry program has more meals than they have kids at this point.

Meals served Monday through Friday until school begins Aug. 8.
