MPD seeks ID of pharmacy burglary suspect

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (FOX13) -

Memphis Police are urging the public to help them identify a man who was captured on surveillance video breaking into the Walgreens pharmacy on Union Avenue on June 16.

The unidentified man gained entry at the pharmacy, located at 1424 Union Ave., trough a hole that was cut in the ceiling. The male suspect was seen entering the business from the ceiling, and taking pill bottles from shelves and cabinets.

Another suspect remained on the roof of the business.

The suspect that gained entry is described as a black male, between 20-30 years of age with a thin build and dark complexion. The suspect was wearing a light-colored jacket, blue jeans, blue-gray Jordan sneakers, with a dark-colored object tied around his head.
