A Memphis police officer is out of jail on bond this morning, accused of drinking and driving.
Police say officer Kobena Cash was pulled over Saturday night for running a stop sign and having expired tags.
Officers say before he pulled over,they saw him swerving from lane to lane.
While talking to Cash, officers say his speech was slurred and they could smell alcohol.
During a search of the car an officer found an empty beer bottle in the drink holder.
Cash is charged with driving under the influence, refusing a blood alcohol level test, running a stop sign, and having expired tags.
