DETROIT (WJBK) -

A Clinton Township man was found laying in the street murdered in Detroit. Two months later, his family is no closer to identifying his killer.

"I don't understand why he would want to hurt him, much less kill him," said Paul Ratzloff.

The Ratzloffs join a parade of families looking for justice and begging for one courageous person to speak up.

25-year-old Ivan Murad was gunned down on April 16 on Detroit's west side. Police say he had been struck by a vehicle and shot.

"You not only ruined one person's life, you ruined a whole family. He was only 25 years old. Don't you have a heart for anything? Were you that cold?" Paul Ratzloff, Ivan's father, said.

"We miss and love him so much. He was our only child. So if anyone out there knows anything, please call," said Laura Ratzloff, Ivan's mother.

Murad's parents made a tearful plea to the killer or a witness to do the right thing.

Murad loved the Red Wings and the city of Detroit, the very place where he was murdered.

His 2006 black Dodge Magnum was found two days later just a few blocks away from the crime scene his parents said can only be described as gruesome.

"They just tore him to pieces. If you could just see the picture. When we went to identify the body, what he looked like, we just can't get it out of our head," Paul Ratzloff explained.

"You should be looking up at the sky because somebody's looking at you. He's watching what you do, kiddo," he added. "One way or another you're going to pay for it, okay, because God doesn't allow this kind of stuff."

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information that leads to an arrest. If you have any information, call 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
