Bartlett policeman charged with domestic assault

Bartlett Police Officer Quentin Crowley was arrested on simple domestic assault charges after he allegedly push his wife causing her to hit her head.

Investigators said the incident took place early Sunday morning just after midnight when Officer Crowley allegedly pushed his wife from behind. His wife fell and hit her head on a hardwood floor.

Bartlett officers were called to Methodist North Hospital Sunday afternoon to follow up on a domestic complaint. The victim told police her and her husband got into a verbal altercation regarding marital issues. She said the altercation became physical when Officer Crowley pushed her.

The victim said she had a knot on her hear after falling down and hitting her head on the hardwood floor.

The incident remains under investigation.
