In conjunction with the USGA and LPGA's Girls Golf program, TPC Southwind of Memphis is hosting the PGA Tour Charities Girls Golf Fair, Saturday, June 29.
The fair is open to girls ages 5-17 and the cost is $20 for a day of fun and games, and of course a beginner's guide to the game they can play for the rest of their lives.

In 2001, GOLF 20/20 did research that showed early instruction in golf leads to a greater likelihood of long-term involvement with the game. Adults who learned golf through a structured junior program are more likely to play than kids who had no formal introduction to the game.
TPC Southwind is one of only five sites nationwide who will host one of these events. Michaelyn Bradford, the head golf professional at Southwind and one of the few female head pros in the nation, calls this fun and informative program, "a tremendous chance for a young woman to build a foundation that can last a life time."
