NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Shelby County deputies say a man accused of shooting his girlfriend and her three teenage daughters in a neighborhood near Nashville has surrendered in Memphis.

A Shelby County sheriff's spokesperson says Earnest Moore, who also goes by Earnest Woodley, turned himself in around 4:20 a.m. Sunday.

Nashville police are now expected to travel to Memphis to bring him back.

Officials in Nashville and Memphis did not immediately return calls left by The Associated Press.

Police say Moore shot 34-year-old Nicole Luke and her daughters Friday afternoon in an apartment complex in the city's Madison neighborhood.

Police say one of the teens has been released from Vanderbilt University Hospital. The others remain hospitalized in stable condition.
