Police: Detroit girl, 14, goes missing

DETROIT (WJBK) -

Police say a 14-year-old girl has been reported missing from her home on the city's west side.

Family members tell police Makayla Smith was last seen Sunday on the front porch of her home on Archdale, just east of the Southfield Freeway.

Smith is described as 5-foot, 3-inches tall and 130 pounds with brown eyes, black hair and a dark complexion. She was last seen wearing a blue short-sleeved blouse, blue jeans and black shoes.

Police say she's diabetic, but otherwise in good mental and physical health.
