Kiplinger, once again, is including Memphis as one of the Top Ten Cheapest Cities to live in.
The magazine is known for its "lists" citing most expensive, less expensive, best places to retire, etc., based on cost of living.
Memphis is cited as a large city, without large city prices. In fact, says the magazine, you can purchase a house in Memphis for less than $100,000, a price you rarely see in a city of more than a half-million in population.
